to the Azusa Pacific University Cinematic Arts website.  Cinematic Arts is a major within the department of Theater, Film, and Television designed to provide students with an appreciation for cinema and to prepare them for work in the cinema-television industry.


This site is primarily for APU Cinematic Arts students, providing resources necessary for course productions. In addition to an online copy of the Production Manual, students can download necessary Production Forms and find a list of helpful Industry Resource Links (for such things as casting resources and rental houses). IMPORTANT NOTICE:

The city of Los Angeles has now made it a misdemeanor offense to film without a permit or engage in activities that are not covered in the filming permit. There are also consequences now for citizens who are interfering with a properly permitted film shoot.


If a person is caught filming without a permit, they can be arrested as well as the production being shut down. Please keep in mind that Film LA covers permits for much of Los Angeles county, not just the city of Los Angeles itself.
